Principles for these writings

A set of principles for the site. Based off of gwern's principles on the long site

• Writing for my future self (assuming that they are intelligent and interested in reading) but has forgotten what I’ve written about.

• A space to note down everything I found interesting for future reference.

• Writing with decades in mind. How would I write stuff if I knew that it would be around for 60 years - 2086?

• The site should have essays that compound (corrected, improved, and remain useful for years)

• Write what doesn’t exist anywhere else. New interpretations, preferences, desires, evaluations.

These are things AI couldn’t replace even in principle. And, as I write, it becomes a virtuous cycle of thinking that creates more thinking and more to write about.
